This is a home-study course.

I can provide you all the training materials that you'll need to pass the Part 1 Examination, but you're also welcome to source them yourself, take and pass the exam without my help and then begin your in-car training for the Part 2 & Part 3 Examination.

The DVSA recommend that you carry out a minimum of 20 hours of driver training before you attempt the Part 2 Examination of Driving Ability.

However, you can take this exam without any further training, providing you have passed the Part 1 Exam.

You must pass the Part 2 examination within 3 attempts, otherwise the DVSA will not allow you to try again for two years - so training is highly recommended.

You can choose to do this training with or without a trainee ADI licence.

The DVSA recommend a minimum of 40 hours of Instructor training before you attempt the Part 3 Examination of Instructional Ability.

If you wish to apply to the DVSA for a trainee ADI licence, you must complete 40 hours of in-car and online training beforehand.  The trainee licence is issued for a period of 6 months under the condition that further training is taken during this period.  The trainee licence will allow you to receive payment for driving lessons that you conduct.

You must pass the Part 3 examination within 3 attempts, otherwise the DVSA will not allow you to try again for two years from the date you passed the ADI Part 1 exam - so training is highly recommended.

All sessions are prepaid in advance - payment is not accepted on the day of your Part 2 or Part 3 sessions.

If you cancel within less than 48 hours of your session, you will be charged for the full price of the session.

(This is highly recommended for when you are running your own driving school, too!)

If you have prepaid a Part 2 or Part 3 block of sessions, you will lose 2 hours of this block if you fail to attend or cancel a session with less than 48 hours notice.

It's rare, but on occasion trainee Instructors may decide it's just not for them, want to delay or stop their training.

If that happens, don't worry.

You'll receive a full refund of your remaining unspent hours, no questions asked.

We will agree a location for your training depending on where you live.
