Expert in-car training for the ADI Parts 2 and 3 exams.

 Bring your personal driving ability up to the high level required by the DVSA, in preparation for the ADI Part 2 - Examination Of Driving Ability.

You’ll drive in varying road and traffic conditions, including motorways or dual carriageways where possible.

Your training is done on a 1 to 1 basis, so I’ll be able to focus all my time on your specific needs and requirements.

You’ll be given both in-car and online support, to help you obtain the high standard of competence required.

In preparation for the exam and your new career, the following training will be provided:

• Development of your expert handling of the car’s controls.

• Development of your knowledge of the correct use of road procedures.

• Development of your ability to anticipate the actions of other road users, so you can take the appropriate action when required.

• Development of a sound judgement of distance, speed and timing.

• Development of your consideration for the safety and convenience of other road users.

• Development of your driving manner into an environmentally-friendly style.

• Development of your ability to carry out accurate, safe and controlled reversing manoeuvres.

• Development of your ability to follow a sat-nav correctly, safely and effectively.

• Development of your ability to follow directional road signs correctly, safely and effectively.

• Development of your ability to 'commentary drive' - Demonstrate how to talk about what you can see, and how you'd deal with it whilst on the move.

• Development of your knowledge of and ability to carry out the ‘show me and tell me’ questions in a safe manner.

• Learn how to self-coach through your areas of development.

• Develop your ability to plan a structured and efficient lesson to deal with your needs and areas of development, in preparation for using these same processes on your own learner drivers of the future.

For the Part 3 Exam or Standards Check - The Examination of Instructional Ability - you will be asked to perform a real, 45 minute client-centred driving lesson.

This will take place with a learner of your choice, or a qualified driver seeking development.

• Development of your ability to manage and spread the awareness of risk - to keep you, your learner and other road users safe during your driving lessons.

• Learn a range of developmental tools and techniques, to enable you to reach your full potential in your new career as a Driving Instructor.

• Develop your ability to create effective and efficient lesson plans for your learners' express needs and wants.

• Develop your ability to create a logical syllabus for your learners to follow.

• Develop your ability to plan routes and create practice areas - best suited to your learners' wants and needs.

• Learn skills for helping your learners control their emotions to prevent anxiety, stress and fear from debilitating their performance.

• Development of your business skills - running a successful self-employed business, creating a business strategy, set and monitor financial targets, profit and loss, learner recruitment and diary management.
